Data Deletion

Short Trips Europe (website and apps) works without any account or registration. We do not operate a user database and do not store profiles. This page explains which data exists where and how to delete it.

1) Data on your device

Your language setting, cookie/ad consent and any Premium unlock are stored locally on your device only. To delete, uninstall the app, or clear your browser's site data for short-trips-europe.com. Nothing remains afterwards.

2) Purchase data

Purchases are processed by Google Play, the Apple App Store or Gumroad – payment and order data is held by these providers and can be viewed and managed in your account there. For in-app purchases, our service provider RevenueCat verifies the purchase using a random, pseudonymous identifier – no name, no e-mail address. For web purchases via Gumroad, we check your e-mail address with Gumroad only at the moment of unlocking and do not store it.

3) Technical logs

When you visit the website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) creates technical logs (e.g. IP address) which are automatically deleted after a short period. The same applies to the weather and map services. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4) Advertising identifier (free app version only)

If you consented to ads, Google AdMob processes your device's advertising ID. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the app under "Cookie Settings" (footer) and reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings (Android, Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).

5) Deletion request

Would you like us to check whether we hold any personal data about you (e.g. from an e-mail to our support) and delete it? Write to info@short-trips-europe.com. We will respond and delete in accordance with the GDPR.
