Cathedral, Brera & Castle
Day one begins at the marble Duomo with its rooftop terraces, leads through the splendid glass arcade Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II to the world-famous La Scala and through the fashion quadrangle of Via Montenapoleone. On into the artists' quarter Brera with its great picture gallery, to the mighty Renaissance fortress Castello Sforzesco and into the Parco Sempione to the peace arch Arco della Pace.
The Last Supper, Sant'Ambrogio & Navigli
Day two begins with Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper in Santa Maria delle Grazie, leads to the ancient brick basilica of Sant'Ambrogio and the Roman colonnade of the Colonne di San Lorenzo. To finish, into the Navigli canal district, heart of the Milanese aperitivo, where the façades mirror in the water and the evening begins.
